Skylar laughed a little and pulled him in for a messy, blood filled kiss. "Better now?" He asked, licking the blood off Arthur's chin.

"Yup!" He giggled, giddy from content, but his smile soon dropped.
"But what about the girl? Will she live?" He bit his lip.
"I feel bad now..."

"She will be fine," Skylar lied, "And don't feel bad about drinking human blood, it's what you eat now, the same as a human eats animal flesh."

His bottom lip dropped.
"Does that mean..." He stopped.
"...no more cookies?"

(Oh go, ah...the cuteness!)

"You can still eat them," Skylar shrugged, "They just don't give you any nourishment any more

(THE CUTENESS IS TOO HARDCORE FOR YOU, MAN!)

He suddenly cheered up!
"Yay! Where's Ayden? I wanna see Ayden!" He stopped.
"Oh, that's right, I can't. I'll want to..." He looked down and sighed.
"Only for a day, thank goodness..."

"It's just a precaution," Skylar said, "We don't want you draining Ayden by mistake."

He nodded, curled up, grasping his legs to his chest, and buried his face in his knees. Skylar was good, Skylar was great, but Ayden was warm and cuddly and human.

Skyar frowned a little and sat on the edge of the bed, stroking Fluture's back with a feather light touch.

Tears fell down Fluture's face.
"She's not going to be okay, is she?" Arthur sniffed. "And Ayden's probably scared of me. How did you cope?"

Skylar shuddered, remembering how Nick had cornered him and forced his fangs into Skylar's throat when he had disobeyed an order. Just as he thought his life was over, nick had forced him to drink his blood, turning him into a vampire and then releasing him in his newborn state to kill every human in sight. He stared into space, just thinking for a long moment until he realized Arthur was still waiting for an answer.

"You-you didn't cope, did you? I-is that why you hate Nicholai so much?" Fluture hugged him suddenly, sitting on his lap.

Skylar nodded, "I did cope, if by coping you mean, I went on a killing spree. Nick wasn't the most caring sire, especially to someone he always regretted turning."

Fluture buried his face in the crook of Skylar's neck, his speech muffled.
"Could you go check if Ayden's okay for me please?"

Skylar kissed his forehead, "Of course." He moved Fluture off his lap and stood up, stretching a little. He walked over to the door and opened it before slipping out and locking it again behind him.

Ayden was still asleep in the library, the heavy book on vampire history resting in his lap while his tattooed arms were wrapped around his body to keep himself warm since it was a little cold with just his shorts on.

"Ayden?" Skylar whispered. The sleeping form of the boy looked so relaxed...
He pushed Ayden's hair out of his face before kissing his forehead, finding a blanket, and wrapping the boy in it.

Ayden opened his eyes a fraction and looked up at Skylar. For a moment, he forgot where he was and flinched away from the vampire's touch but then he remembered everything and found himself asking, "Is Arthur okay?" in a hesitant and desperate voice.

"A bit shaken and upset, but good. He'll get there. Tomorrow he can see you, and I know he'll be fine. Get some rest, you need it." He gave the boy a passionate kiss.

Ayden kissed his back, hand stroking the side of Skylar's face. He pushed the book onto the floor and moved a little so they could kiss properly.

Skylar climbed onto his lap, not having felt so dainty since he was one of Nicholai's slave boys himself. He felt guilty as Fluture couldn't have Ayden, but he couldn't deny that he'd ignored the boy for the past twelve hours or so.

Ayden smiled into their kiss and pulled at the ribbon in the vampire's hair, wanting to touch the silky white locks.

Skylar chuckled. He pulled the ribbon out, allowing his hair to tumble down his back. He purred contentedly as the boy ran his fingers through it.

Ayden pulled away from the kiss, gasping for air. He leaned in close, breath pooling in Skylar's ear as he muttered, "Master."

Oh, shit. That voice tortured him, caressed him. He'd been rough with both boys before, and he knew Ayden was his, but could he prove himself further?
"What do you want, little boy?" He grinned.

"I want you to fuck me," Ayden purred, "I want you inside of me, need you. Need to feel you master." He ran his hands through Skylar's hair and leant in for another kiss.
